fork torn; forlorn, crumpled frame

My friend,

You must've worked hard yanking, crushing, and battering my bicycle tonight, while she was locked to a tree on E. 128th at Buckeye.

She was a Fuji named Judy, but you probably didn't care to ask her name or check who made her before you stripped her airpump, headlight, and pack (hardly valuable) then left me with unrideable, unfixable junk.

I think I can salvage the handlebar and seat. And maybe the brake levers?

I'm back to driving my car, just when it was getting really nice out. Let's celebrate together?

Next time, cut the lock and take home something you can use.

Man, that's terrible! Did you file a police report? It isn't officially filed until you get a report number. Those bikes are expensive too.

F-ing bummer. I do appreciate you calling the perp "friend" I prefer not to think that you are being sarcastic. It makes you the bigger man.

Adam: I haven't talked to the police (yet?) I suppose it's worth it just to let them know something happened there?

Steve: It's easy to be the bigger man when I've no choice but to accept it. However, if I'd caught said friend in the act, my reaction would have certainly depended on who was the bigger man...

what's with all this sexist bs? girls can steal bikes too, can't they? sorry to be snarky - that sucks, man. at least over here, the civilised folk cut the lock, take your bike to cambridge, let some schooly there buy it, cut their lock, take it back to oxford & let you buy it back.

ha! your people know howta do business.

however, i never specified that the offender was male; only that my bike was female. YOU'RE the sexist one thinking women are only beat up by men.

nuh-uh. i've seen my share of catfights (sadly, even had one myself once), so i know chicks can beat up chicks. i wasn't referring to that, however...i was referring to these:
"....makes you the bigger man..."
"...depended on who was the bigger man..."
so there :-p
