back up'n'dun runnin'
Hello. Well, dad sorted out home's routing problems and so this
page is back up after being d-void o'funk. I am in Galway city in Ireland, and so far things are... good. I've had many journeys, emotional and physical both, and though I enjoyed and/or endured them, my Palm Piloted itself into a goddamn technological mountain and a week and a half of journalling is lost forever. I was frustrated with the loss, and I don't think I'll pick my efforts back up, but I will probably be writing here bits and pieces of my experiences, granted less personally, (and more hurriedly, as to inet access costs,) but obviously more publicly.
Today was nothing short of magic. Frustrated with my efforts at searching for a job, I went for a walk, in the direction of a castle I had seen from a distance a few days before. 4 miles later I was on the road that supposedly led to this Menlo Castle. Two dogs ran up from a house, and led me down the road; running ahead, then turning and waiting for me to catch up, then running again. One snuck through a gate that had a no trespassing sign, and the other remained there while I climbed over. The first led me down to the old castle ruins, where 3 horses live, and he and I played catch with a stick for a half hour, and he showed me around different parts of the magnificent structure. No tourists -- just me, a dog, 3 horses, and a 400 year-old castle. real.
