Dog Food for Thought

The cutest tiny white short-haired dog found his way down to our house with a soccer ball and is scrambling and tumbling back and forth across the icy driveway with it. My digital camera and my dad's analog are both broken, so I cannot capture the moment but in words.

Everyone says dogs are stupid. I say, any living being whose life consists solely of playing, sleeping, being fed, receiving love and attention, and licking its own ass is certainly doing something right. Tonight I raise my glass to original sin and self-awareness.
